Terms of Use

The plain-English terms for using this site and booking through it.

Last updated 2026-09-19.

Who you are dealing with

Hitch & Host is a family-owned party and event rental business based in Albany, Minnesota. You can reach us at office@hitchandhostmn.com or through the booking form on any page. These terms cover your use of this website. The rental itself is covered by the written rental agreement described below.

Sending the form is a request, not a booking

The booking form asks us to check a date. It does not reserve anything. A date is yours once we have replied to confirm it is free and the $200 refundable deposit is down. Until then somebody else can take the weekend, and in May and June somebody often does.

Nothing here is a fixed quote

The trailer is quoted for the weekend based on what your event actually needs, which is why no rate sheet is published. Any figure you read on this site — the $200 deposit, delivery bands, an example — is a description of how we work, not a binding offer. The number we send you in reply to your enquiry is the quote.

Distances and delivery bands are approximate

Every town page states a mileage, a drive time and a delivery band. Those are calculated from map coordinates, not driven and timed one by one. They are close enough to plan with and not precise enough to argue over. Delivery is free within 15 miles of Albany, a flat rate out to roughly 30 miles, and quoted by distance beyond that; the quote we send is what applies.

The rental agreement wins

Before equipment leaves us you sign our written rental agreement. It covers condition, responsibility for damage or loss, the deposit, and when things come back. Where anything on this website and that agreement disagree, the signed agreement is what counts.

Towing and setup

If you tow the trailer yourself, having a suitable vehicle and hitch — and towing it legally and safely — is your responsibility, not ours. Bounce houses are never customer-towed: we deliver, place, anchor and test them, and we take them down again.

The giveaway

The free weekend drawing runs under its own official rules, which govern it completely and take precedence over this page for anything to do with entering or winning.

Using the forms properly

Please send us your own details, or somebody else's only if they asked you to. Do not use the forms for advertising, bulk submissions or anything automated. We filter for that and quietly discard what looks like a bot, so a genuine enquiry sent in a strange way may not reach us — if you do not hear back, email us directly.

What belongs to whom

The text, photographs, logo and page designs on this site belong to Hitch & Host. You are welcome to link to any page, quote a sentence, print a page, or send one to a friend. Republishing the content as your own, or scraping it to build a competing site, is not welcome. Map data on the service areas page is © OpenStreetMap contributors, used under the Open Database Licence.

No guarantee the site is perfect

We try to keep this site accurate and available, and we will not promise either. Availability changes daily, copy can go stale, and hosting can fall over. The site is provided as it is. Treat anything that matters to your event as something to confirm with us rather than something to rely on.

Liability

So far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your rights under the rental agreement you sign with us.

Links to other places

We link out to Facebook, to Google and to a map provider. What happens on those sites is governed by their terms and their privacy policies, not ours.

Privacy

What we collect and where it goes is set out on the privacy page.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Questions: office@hitchandhostmn.com.

These terms describe how we actually work. They have not been reviewed by an attorney.
