Hitch & Host runs out of Albany, 10 miles from New Munich. Family owned, one trailer, one price. Folding chairs and banquet tables loaded on a trailer, quoted for the whole weekend. Tents and bounce houses too. Tow it yourself or let us bring it.
New Munich is 10 miles from our trailer yard in Albany — about 15 minutes. That is close enough that we can usually deliver at no extra charge. At 10 miles it is barely a trip. Most people here hook up, tow it home, and have it back before the deposit is cold.
New Munich is a small town — about 366 people — and the seating for anything big usually gets borrowed from three directions. A New Munich party is usually somebody's yard, a hall, or a shed cleaned out for the weekend. All three work fine with a trailer parked alongside.
We cover New Munich as part of a run through Stearns County that also takes in Freeport, Melrose and Greenwald, so it is rare that we are making a trip out here for one booking. The price does not move with your headcount. That is not generosity, it is just simpler to run one trailer than to count chairs twice. The person reading your request is the person who loads the trailer. Nothing gets relayed.
Steel folding chairs and banquet tables, already loaded on racks inside an enclosed trailer. It rents as one bundle. There is no per-chair rate to calculate, no weekend surcharge, and no separate delivery line unless we are driving it to you. Need more than the trailer holds? Ask — we can add to it.
| What you get | What you pay | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| The loaded trailer | Quoted for the weekend | Chairs and tables on board |
| However many you use | Same quote | We do not split the load or count them back |
| Keep it Friday to Sunday | Same quote | No per-day multiplier |
| Need more than it holds | Just ask | We can add to it |
| Booking deposit | $200 | Reserves the date, comes off the total |
Most rental companies price per chair per day, so a Friday-to-Sunday event gets multiplied by three before delivery is even added. We rent the trailer, not the chair — one flat price whether you pull a dozen off the rack or empty it.
The chairs hang on racks and the tables ride along the wall. You pull what you need off the rack, and at the end of the night you hang them back. That is the entire unload and reload — no stacking hundred-chair towers, no games of trailer Tetris in the dark, and no counting them back in one at a time.
It also means you are never short. The trailer goes out full, so if your New Munich event only needs half of it you still have spares for the ones that end up wet, wobbly or claimed by somebody's cooler.
One quote for the weekend covers the loaded trailer — folding chairs and banquet tables — as one bundle, however many you actually use. A $200 booking deposit reserves the date and comes off the total. Delivery to New Munich is separate and quoted by distance — free delivery applies here.
About 10 miles from Albany, roughly a 15-minute drive. You are practically next door.
A 2-5/16 inch ball and a vehicle rated to tow an enclosed trailer — most half-ton pickups and full-size SUVs handle it without any trouble. If you are unsure whether your vehicle is up to it, tell us what you drive in the booking form.
Yes. Free delivery applies to New Munich, which is 10 miles from Albany.
A chair or two out of {chairs} is wear and tear, not a problem. Real damage — a cracked seat, a bent table leg — is billed after return at the replacement cost on the rental agreement. There is no separate damage deposit.
Usually yes. Midweek is quieter for us than Saturdays, so extending into a Monday or picking up on a Thursday is often easier than people expect. Ask in the booking form.
For a whole weekend, we think so, and it is the billing model rather than a discount: companies that price per chair per day multiply by the count and again by the days. We quote the trailer once, for the weekend. Get a quote from anyone else and compare the weekend total, not the daily rate — that is where the difference shows up.
