How It Works

The trailer is the rental. That one decision is what makes the price flat and the unload quick.

Two ways to get it

1. You tow it

Send us your date and headcount. Pick up the loaded trailer in Albany with a truck or SUV, using a 2-5/16 inch ball. Tow it to the party, pull the chairs off the racks, host. Hang them back and bring it home. This is free and it is what most people do.

2. We bring it

Give us the date, headcount and address and we deliver on your schedule, then collect when it is over. Delivery is free inside 15 miles of Albany and quoted by distance past that.

Questions

What vehicle do I need to tow it?

A 2-5/16 inch ball and something rated to tow an enclosed trailer — most half-ton pickups and full-size SUVs are fine. Say what you drive in the form if you are unsure.

How long does unloading take?

Minutes. The chairs hang on racks and the tables ride along the wall. You take off what you need and hang the rest back at the end.

Do I have to clean them?

Wipe off the obvious mess and hang them back on the racks. We do not expect them spotless — we expect them back on the racks so the count is right.

What if it rains?

The trailer is enclosed, so the chairs stay dry until you take them out. If the weather turns and you need to move indoors, that is exactly why they are easy to pick back up.

Do you rent in the winter?

Year round. The trailer is enclosed and heated events are indoors anyway — Christmas parties, funeral luncheons, church suppers, sports banquets and February fundraisers are a real part of our year. Winter dates are also the easiest to get on short notice. If the driveway is not plowed, tell us and we will plan the delivery around it.

Check a date

Booking is subject to our rental terms: a $200 non-refundable booking deposit reserves the date and comes off the total.

This goes straight to us and we reply the same day, usually within a couple of hours. Bookings go through this form so every request stays in one place. Questions? Email office@hitchandhostmn.com.
