Entries open on the date this page was published and close at 11:59 PM Central on September 30, 2026. Entries received after that are not counted. The winner is drawn on October 1, 2026.
Complete the entry form at hitchandhostmn.com/giveaway.html with your name, email address and town, and tick the box confirming you have read these rules. That is one entry. One entry per person and per email address.
On entering you receive a personal referral link. Each separate, valid entry submitted through your link earns you one additional entry, to a maximum of 10 additional entries. Alternatively a new entrant may name you as the person who told them about the drawing, which also earns you one additional entry, provided you have already entered yourself and the name given matches the name you entered under. Where more than one entrant shares a name we cannot tell who was meant, and no additional entry is awarded. Entries you submit yourself using your own link or your own name do not count. Automated, fraudulent or duplicate entries are disqualified, and we may disqualify an entrant whose referrals appear not to be real people.
You may indicate on the form that you follow our Facebook page. This is optional and does not affect your odds. We do not require sharing a post or tagging anyone, because Facebook's own policies do not permit promotions to be run that way.
One (1) winner receives one free weekend rental of the trailer package — 178 folding chairs and 4 banquet tables for one weekend, an approximate retail value of $299. The refundable damage deposit is waived. Delivery is included within 15 miles of Albany, Minnesota; beyond that, standard delivery rates apply and are the winner's responsibility. Bounce houses are not included. The prize must be claimed for a weekend within 12 months of the draw date and is subject to availability on the date requested. The winner must sign our standard rental agreement, which includes responsibility for damage to the equipment.
The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
One winner is selected at random from all valid entries, weighted by the number of entries each entrant holds. The draw uses a cryptographically random selection. Odds depend on the number of entries received.
The winner is notified by email at the address given on entry, within three days of the draw. If we do not hear back within seven days, we may draw again. All entrants are emailed the result.
The prize value is below the threshold at which we would issue a 1099 form. Any tax consequence of accepting the prize is the winner's responsibility.
We collect your name, email address, phone number and town. We use them to run this drawing, to tell you the outcome, and to contact you occasionally about rentals by email, phone or text. By entering you give express written consent to be contacted at the number you provide, including by automated text; message and data rates may apply, and consent is not a condition of entering or of renting anything. Reply STOP to any text or unsubscribe from any email to opt out. We do not sell your information or pass it to anyone else, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing office@hitchandhostmn.com.
If you win, we would like to name your first name and town when we announce it. If you would rather we did not, tell us when we contact you and we will keep it anonymous.
We may disqualify any entry we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, automated or duplicated. If the drawing cannot be run as planned, we may cancel or modify it, and we will say so publicly on this page.
These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota.
