Our trailer lives in Albany, 52 miles from Monticello, and our family loads it ourselves. Folding chairs and banquet tables loaded on a trailer, quoted for the whole weekend. Tents and bounce houses too. Tow it yourself or let us bring it.
Monticello is about 52 miles out from Albany — roughly 70 minutes each way, near the edge of where we run. This far out, we will tell you plainly whether delivery makes sense for your headcount, or whether you are better off towing.
With about 14,815 residents, Monticello is big enough to have real venues and a steady run of events, but small enough that your party is not a rounding error to whoever takes the booking. Monticello has enough going on that most weekends somebody is setting up folding chairs somewhere. We would rather it was ours than six borrowed sets.
We cover Monticello as part of a run through Wright County that also takes in Big Lake, Becker and Albertville, so it is rare that we are making a trip out here for one booking. You are renting a loaded trailer, not a chair count. Nobody tallies what you used when it comes back. You are dealing with the family that owns the trailer. There is nobody here to escalate to, and nobody who needs to be.
Two of them are water slide parks and one is a classic bounce house with a slide — all three rent to Monticello for the weekend, quoted per unit.
A bounce area, a double slide, two splash pools and water cannons, all in one footprint. This is the one for a birthday where you want the kids busy for the whole afternoon.
A double water slide that lands in a splash pool, with a cannon. Smaller footprint, same effect on a hot July Saturday.
A house-shaped bouncer with a slide out the side and a shallow pool at the bottom. Runs dry or wet, which makes it the one that works in May and September too.
A reasonably flat patch of grass with a few feet of clearance on every side, an outdoor outlet within about 100 feet for the blower, and for the water units a garden hose that reaches. Every unit comes with its blower and ground stakes, and it has to be staked before anyone goes in — Minnesota wind is not something to guess at. If you are not sure your Monticello yard works, describe it in the booking form and we will tell you honestly.
Delivery and setup are available, and quoted with your booking. Say what you would like in the form.
Most Monticello bookings that start as a bounce house end up needing chairs too, because the parents who bring the kids need somewhere to sit. The trailer package is quoted for the weekend, chairs and tables loaded, and booking both at once means one form and one schedule to keep track of.
One quote for the weekend covers the loaded trailer — folding chairs and banquet tables — as one bundle, however many you actually use. A $200 booking deposit reserves the date and comes off the total. Delivery to Monticello is separate and quoted by distance — delivery quoted by distance applies here.
We can. Say so in the booking form and delivery and setup are quoted with the rest of your Monticello booking. Every unit comes with its blower and ground stakes either way.
A reasonably flat patch of grass with clearance around it, an outdoor outlet within about 100 feet for the blower, and for the water slides a garden hose that reaches. Describe your yard in the form and we will tell you honestly whether it will work.
About 52 miles from Albany, roughly a 70-minute drive. It is an easy haul if you are towing it yourself.
A 2-5/16 inch ball and a vehicle rated to tow an enclosed trailer — most half-ton pickups and full-size SUVs handle it without any trouble. If you are unsure whether your vehicle is up to it, tell us what you drive in the booking form.
Yes. Delivery quoted by distance applies to Monticello, which is 52 miles from Albany.
No — you pull them off the racks and place them where you want them. That is part of why the price is what it is. Bounce houses and water slides come with their own blower and ground stakes; if you would like us to deliver and set one up, say so and it is quoted with the booking.
A chair or two out of {chairs} is wear and tear, not a problem. Real damage — a cracked seat, a bent table leg — is billed after return at the replacement cost on the rental agreement. There is no separate damage deposit.
For a whole weekend, we think so, and it is the billing model rather than a discount: companies that price per chair per day multiply by the count and again by the days. We quote the trailer once, for the weekend. Get a quote from anyone else and compare the weekend total, not the daily rate — that is where the difference shows up.
We serve the whole stretch around Monticello — here are the closest towns and the county page.
Tell us the date and the headcount. We will confirm whether it is open, usually the same day.
Weekends book first, especially May and June. Send us the date and your headcount and we will come straight back to you on whether it is open.
